Henry is proud to announce that the Midland Symphony Orchestra will perform his celebrated orchestral suite, Cosmic Cycles: A Space Symphony, on March 7, 2026, at the Midland Center for the Arts in Midland, Michigan with Bohuslav Rattay conducting the powerful cinematic score with NASA visuals.

With Cosmic Cycles taking center center stage this 2025-26 season, Henry tells Matthew Hutson from The New Yorker how he drew inspiration from images captured by NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope and how he translated the grandeur of the cosmos into a sweeping symphonic experience.

Cosmic Cycles, A Space Symphony, Henry Dehlinger's immersive concert experience inspired by the Cosmos and composed in collaboration with NASA, will make its Australian premiere in 2024, opening at The Concourse Concert Hall with Maestro Steven Hillinger conducting the North Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Dehlinger will speak at ARTECHOUSE, the leading art space dedicated to immersive digital art, as part of its ARTECHTALK series of talks with NASA scientists and collaborators. Henry will discuss looking for art in the James Webb Space Telescope and how he collaborated with NASA to compose Cosmic Cycles.

On May 11 and 13, NatPhil presents Cosmic Cycles, A Space Symphony, Dehlinger’s monumental suite of seven symphonic poems, with an HD screening of images captured by NASA's Hubble and Webb Space Telescopes and groundbreaking visualizations created by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.

In collaboration with NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, the National Philharmonic presents Dehlinger's Cosmic Cycles in May 2023. This musical exploration of the universe and its origins will be performed live against the backdrop of out-of-this-world images from the Hubble and James Webb Space Telescopes.
