About Henry Dehlinger

Hailed by Gramophone for his “exquisite piano-playing” and “vibrantly colorful palette,” pianist Henry Dehlinger is widely acclaimed for his interpretation of Spanish classical music. His performances have been described as "adroit and sparkling" by Audiophile Audition, while MusicWeb International praises his "delicious piano playing." A frequent recitalist, he has appeared on leading stages from the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center to the White House in Washington, D.C. Born in San Francisco, he quickly earned a reputation as a prodigious talent. By the age of ten, he was performing with major orchestras under conductors such as Riccardo Chailly and Edo de Waart, and operatic legends such as Luciano Pavarotti, Montserrat Caballé and Georgio Tozzi. His critically acclaimed recordings, most recently on the MSR Classics label, are available on Amazon, ArkivMusic, CD Baby, iTunes and other music stores. [ www.HenryDehlinger.com/about ]

About the Crestmont Conservatory of Music

The Crestmont Conservatory of Music was founded in September 1971 when seven teachers, working with eighty students, formed the nucleus of one the San Francisco Bay Area’s most important cultural institutions. Located in San Mateo, California, the Conservatory is led by co-founder and piano virtuoso Thomas LaRatta, who received his musical training at the Chicago Musical College where he was a scholarship pupil of the great Rudolph Ganz. He has appeared as a soloist with the San Francisco Symphony, the Chicago Symphony, the Peninsula Symphony, and many other orchestras throughout the country. Since his San Francisco debut at the Palace of the Legion of Honor, Mr. LaRatta has continued to present recitals throughout the United States and abroad. He enjoys conducting master classes and lecture-recitals and is well known to audiences in Japan and Taiwan, where he has appeared both as master teacher and performer. [ www.crestmontmusic.org ]
