In partnership with NASA, Capital Classical Concerts presents the world premiere of Henry Dehlinger’s "Beyond Earth: A Celestial Odyssey." This cinematic-symphonic work traces humanity’s journey beyond our home planet, from the daring first steps on the Moon to the edges of our interplanetary aspirations. Also on the program are selections from Dehlinger’s "Cosmic Cycles: A Space Symphony," which has captivated audiences in sold-out halls around the globe since its 2023 premiere.

Conductor Piotr Gajewski joins Composer Henry Dehlinger in sharing their unique collaboration with NASA. They will offer a glimpse into the creative process in composing music for videos made by NASA producers – taking the audience on an enchanting voyage through the cosmos, delving into the power of art to communicate scientific ideas, and inspiring wonder and curiosity about the mysteries of the universe.

The Midland Symphony Orchestra continues its journey through the cosmos with an awe-inspiring evening of music and imagery. Experience "Cosmic Cycles," an immersive work by Henry Dehlinger that blends breathtaking NASA visuals with a powerful cinematic score. The evening begins with Midland Symphony Orchestra Principal Horn Kurt Civilette performing Glière’s stunning Horn Concerto, setting the stage for an unforgettable night of exploration and discovery.

The composer's friend, conductor Steven Hillinger, leads the advanced North Sydney Girls High School Symphony Orchestra in a special arrangement of "Earth As Art," the third movement of "Cosmic Cycles: A Space Symphony." Every year, the band and orchestra perform a "Showcase Concert" at The Concourse, one of Sydney's leading entertainment venues, where "Cosmic Cycles" had its Australian premiere.
