The Promise of Living: World Premiere of Three Choral Songs on James Joyce Thomas Colohan, Artistic Director The Washington Master Chorale opens its 10th season as a performing ensemble in the historic Church of the Epiphany with a rich program of a cappella concert spirituals, choral art songs, and well-crafted arrangements of early American folk songs and hymns. A highlight of the concert will be the world premiere of a new choral cycle by composer Henry Dehlinger based on the poetry of Irish poet James Joyce (1882-1941).
