On December 18, 2020, St. Pete Opera presents A Soprano’s Mosaic as part of its Artist Recital Series. Headlining soprano Danielle Talamantes with Henry at the piano, it will feature music by Puccini, Bizet, Granados, Turina, and, of course, Dehlinger, among other favorites.

Danielle will perform Henry's The Mount and his popular arrangement of Duke Ellington's Come Sunday. The Mount is a setting of a poem by New York-based poet Mark Riddles in which he recasts familiar biblical passages in the sensory language of sight. It was commissioned in 2015 by The Casement Fund, which supports new directions in creative writing, especially in connection with the other arts.
Come Sunday was Henry's first written and recorded arrangement. In large sections of the arrangement, the piano accompanies the singer in a stride style evocative of Ellington himself. The dynamic range between the rubato sections and rhythmic swinging sections make this crossover arrangement particularly interesting.
