This week, they rehearsed Siete canciones populares españolas by Manuel de Falla. This is one of the most-recorded sets of Spanish art music. Some are asking, how will this recording stand out from all the others?

Using Kickstarter to Bring a New Classical CD to LifePianist Henry Dehlinger is rehearsing for his next album - a collaboration with a good friend and rising star on the international opera scene, Danielle Talamantes.

Entitled Canciones españolas, the ambitious recording project features 18 Spanish classical songs by Enrique Granados, Manuel de Falla and Joaquín Turina. It's being funded through Kickstarter.

Pianist Henry DehlingerPianist Henry Dehlinger today announced the release of his debut album, Evocations of Spain, featuring selections from Isaac Albéniz’s Iberia and Suite española and Enrique Granados’s Goyescas and Danzas españolas.

The album is now available for shipping to over 2,500 retailers worldwide and for digital download on CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon and other digital music stores.

A sweeping 21st century rhapsody for voice and orchestra, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock was composed especially for Metropolitan Opera soprano Danielle Talamantes. Adapted from the famous poem by T. S. Eliot, it uses the melodic and rhythmic contours of Eliot's stream-of-consciousness narrative to dictate mood and melodic character.

Inspired by Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and co-commissioned by the Washington Master Chorale and the Santa Clara Chorale, Henry's Kohelet gives you lush, modal melodies, energetic meters, and colorful harmonic textures with Hebrew text drawn from the Book of Ecclesiastes and Song of Songs.
